My Story

Hi, I'm Jazmine.

I'm a portrait photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me at the circus. I'm deeply involved in the local performing arts community, spending time around live theater, pole, aerial, and a motley crew of wonderfully talented performers. Their creativity, vulnerability, and ability to tell stories through movement constantly inspire me, and I think that's part of why I'm so drawn to the quiet gestures, subtle expressions, and fleeting moments that reveal who we really are.

I've always believed that the most beautiful moments are rarely the loudest ones.

I'm drawn to the details that often go unnoticed—a lingering glance, the slightest shift in expression, the elegant curve of someone’s hips, the way someone's posture softens when they're with the people they love. Those are the moments that stay with me long after the shutter clicks.

Photography gives me an outlet for the way my mind naturally works. I've always been creative at heart, and my camera allows me to combine artistry with what I find most interesting: people.

Somewhere along the way, I realized a photograph could make someone feel seen in a way words never could.

More than anything, I love helping people see themselves the way I see them.

We're often our own harshest critics, noticing flaws no one else sees. Through my lens, I see tenderness, confidence, strength, joy, vulnerability, and beauty that already exists. My goal isn't to create a different version of you—it's to remind you of the one that's been there all along.

My sessions are relaxed, collaborative, and filled with laughter. I'll guide you when you need it, step back when the moment speaks for itself, and create a space where you can simply be yourself.

Expect a little direction, a lot of encouragement, and at least one moment where I tell you, "Okay... you look a little dead behind the eyes. Let's try that again!" I promise it's always said with love, and it's usually followed by a genuine laugh. And if you hear me jokingly ask, "How do I work my camera?" don't panic—it's all part of the experience. I take my work seriously—I just don't take myself too seriously.

This space is for the lovers, the dreamers, and the wanderers—for people who value connection over perfection, who find beauty in the in-between, who love to laugh, and believe the moments worth remembering are often found in the most unexpected places.

Years from now, I don't just want you to remember what you looked like.

I want you to remember how it felt to be loved, to laugh until your cheeks hurt, to feel completely at ease, and to see yourself through kinder eyes.

Thank you for being here. I can't wait to tell your story. ♡
